Talk Into Action

The Brief: Design a logo and campaing for Music Mark to promote Equity, Diversity and Inclusion that is “bold, clean, and versatile; something with impact and gravitas, but not overly ‘corporate”.

 
 

Client’s Preferred Style: typographic, geometric, symbolic.
Tone of voice: bold, honest, clean, impactful, collaborative.

 
 

The Concept:

We move from the abstract character of the talking to the boldness and solidity of the action. Both the talking and the doing are important and necessary for change to happen. This idea is symbolised by the emptiness of the triangle in ‘TALK’ and the full colour of the triangle in ‘ACTION’. This relationship between the talking and the doing is visually represented by the connection of both triangles.

The idea of movement is suggested by the cursive font in ‘ACTION’ and the abstraction of the 3 lines that show movement like the ones we see in cartoons and icons.

The triangle shape represents integrity, unity, balance, equality.
